Job Summary

Providing essential support to State of Texas employees, the full-time remote Texas Benefits Representative will manage inquiries regarding health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits, ensuring timely and accurate assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for employees and retirees on benefits packages, including eligibility and enrollment procedures
• Respond to incoming calls and provide personalized support to resolve benefits-related inquiries efficiently
• Assist employees with the benefits enrollment process and investigate issues related to benefits discrepancies or claims

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 3 years of experience in a customer service or call center role, preferably in benefits administration or human resources
• Knowledge of employee benefits terminology and regulations
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications for data entry and documentation
• Ability to type at least forty words per minute
