Job Summary
Managing a high-volume portfolio of small group employer accounts, the full-time Texas Licensed Account Manager will provide exceptional client service remotely, coordinating support across internal teams and serving as the primary point of contact throughout the client relationship.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned small group employer clients, managing day-to-day service needs via phone and email
- Build and maintain strong client and carrier relationships through proactive outreach and virtual meetings for open enrollment and renewals
- Handle high-level client service issues with professionalism, ensuring timely resolution by coordinating with internal operations teams
Required qualifications:
- Active Life & Health Insurance License required
- Minimum of two years of experience in small group employee health benefits, preferably in a health insurance broker environment
- Solid understanding of small group insurance products, carrier procedures, and plan design including medical, dental, and vision
- Familiarity with compliance requirements including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, and ACA/Health Care Reform
- Associate's degree preferred
