Texas Licensed Accountant

Job Summary

Detail-driven and organized, the full-time Texas Licensed Accountant will manage day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks, maintain financial records, and deliver timely management reports while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including transaction entry, coding, and monthly reconciliations in QuickBooks
• Build and run financial reports on demand for management, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, collaborating with outside CPAs and tax preparers as needed

Required qualifications

• Fully versed in QuickBooks (Desktop) with proven experience in financial reporting and reconciliations
• Medium-to-advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with formulas and pivot tables
• Based in Texas, with reliable availability during core business hours
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Experience in the beverage, food, distribution, or regulated import/wholesale industry preferred
