Job Summary

Driving quality and value-based care, the full-time Texas Licensed Advanced Practice Provider Specialist will lead the development, management, and evaluation of patient care management tools while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance oncology patient outcomes in a remote setting within Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quality improvement projects to enhance clinical effectiveness and report on initiatives using data analysis
• Direct the development and evaluation of patient care tools, ensuring alignment with best practices and consensus guidelines
• Utilize clinical expertise to collaborate with stakeholders in the validation and dissemination of patient care management tools

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or a Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current license and/or certification as defined by the Texas Board of Nursing for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses or the National Commission of Physician Assistants
• Four years of clinical healthcare experience as a provider
• Experience in program or project management related to healthcare quality improvement and patient safety is preferred
• Oncology Nurse Certification (OCN) or certification in a specialty practice area is preferred
