Job Summary
Managing a diverse caseload from inception through resolution, the full-time Texas Licensed Associate Attorney will provide strategic legal counsel and representation in court, arbitrations, and depositions while meeting a 1,950-hour annual billable requirement.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct file reviews and legal analysis of claims and causes of action
- Perform extensive legal research and draft briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs
- Represent clients in court, at arbitrations, and in depositions while collaborating with partners and stakeholders
Required qualifications:
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Texas; additional bar admissions in Oklahoma and Arkansas are a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the relevant practice area
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Experience with administrative proceedings, depositions, and mediations
