Texas Licensed Auto Appraiser

Job Summary

Evaluating and appraising vehicle damage claims, the full-time Texas Licensed Auto Appraiser will work virtually to ensure estimate accuracy and compliance with state laws while providing exceptional member service.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and appraise auto physical damage claims using digital tools in accordance with corporate guidelines and state regulations
• Investigate claim damages by communicating with insured parties, internal claims adjusters, and third parties
• Maintain accurate documentation throughout the claims process and proactively inform policyholders about their coverage and claims status

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
• 1 year of auto appraising experience
• Progressive knowledge of P&C insurance policy contracts and claim appraisal procedures
• Working knowledge of estimating losses using CCC or similar estimating platforms
• Ability to acquire and maintain an insurance adjuster license within 90 days
