Job Summary
Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time Texas Licensed Bankruptcy Paralegal will support a growing litigation and restructuring practice by managing bankruptcy cases from inception through resolution, including preparing and filing legal documents, while working in a hybrid environment with one to two remote days per week after onboarding.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and file pleadings, petitions, and motions related to bankruptcy cases
- Manage case dockets and deadlines, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines
- Conduct legal research and draft correspondence, discovery materials, and court filings
Required qualifications
- Minimum of six years of litigation experience with a focus on bankruptcy law
- Strong understanding of Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy procedures and filings
- Proficiency with legal research platforms and case management systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in both debtor and creditor matters is preferred
