Texas Licensed Business Analyst
Job Summary
To lead product definition for a dedicated Scrum team, a full-time Texas Licensed Business Analyst will partner with the Schwab Product Owner, translating Retirement Planning and 401(k) priorities into a decision-ready backlog and reusable domain API outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Schwab Product Owner to define product goals, priorities, and roadmap increments
- Own and refine epics, features, user stories, and technical enablers while facilitating backlog refinement and sprint planning
- Translate 401(k) business rules and data needs into executable backlog items, ensuring alignment with technical architecture and API consumer requirements
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in product ownership, business analysis, or technology delivery, including 5+ years as a Product Owner or Lead Business Analyst
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Retirement Planning and demonstrated expertise in the 401(k) line of business
- Hands-on experience with API modernization, microservices, and domain-capability initiatives
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery and backlog management
- Practical experience with enterprise AI assistants or generative AI for analysis and documentation
