Job Summary
Managing a caseload of loss time workers' compensation claims, the full-time Texas Licensed Claims Adjuster will determine compensability, negotiate settlements, and coordinate with various stakeholders while working fully remote from anywhere in the continental US.
Key responsibilities
- Determine compensability and coverage issues for loss time workers' compensation claims
- Negotiate and direct settlements under management's review
- Gather medical and factual evidence to support claims decisions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant workers' compensation claims experience, or 5+ years without a degree
- Claims Adjuster Designation or SIP Certification required
- Experience adjusting claims in Texas is mandatory
- Carrier experience preferred, especially in handling lost time or litigated claims
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential
