Job Summary

Managing moderately complex Healthcare Professional Liability claims with a focus on Correctional Medicine, the full-time Texas Licensed Claims Specialist will oversee the full claim life cycle, including coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation, and resolution, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze coverage and settle moderately complex claims in Correctional Medicine Professional Liability
• Conduct thorough investigations to determine claims exposure and recommend appropriate settlement strategies
• Negotiate settlements with clients, client attorneys, and Public Adjusters while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in handling professional liability claims
• Strong understanding of claims processes and insurance fundamentals
• Proficiency with claims systems and standard business software
• Must be able to obtain required adjuster licenses within designated timeframes
