Job Summary
To support a leading healthcare organization, the remote Texas Licensed Clinical Pharmacist will review and complete prior authorization criteria, assess patient profiles for drug interactions, and provide assistance in patient services while working on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Review patient prescriptions for accuracy and determine the need for physician clarification or intervention
- Assist in patient inquiries regarding prescription medications and maintain quality assurance procedures
- Dispense prescription medications and perform final quality checks to ensure dosage accuracy
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Active pharmacist license in good standing in Texas
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting productivity and quality expectations
