Job Summary
Supervising daily operations of the coding audit team, the full-time remote Texas Licensed Coding Supervisor will manage audit assignments, ensure quality and productivity, and provide coaching and support to auditors while promoting compliant documentation and billing practices.
Key responsibilities
- Oversees workload assignments and timely completion of audit deliverables while supervising assigned coding auditors
- Monitors audit productivity and quality, ensuring adherence to documentation standards and compliance expectations
- Identifies coding trends and compliance risks, preparing audit status updates and recommendations for process improvement
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current CPC, CCS-P, or CPMA certification required
- Minimum of five years of certified coding and/or coding audit experience required, with at least three years in professional fee coding audit
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and payer billing requirements required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required
