Job Summary

Seeking a Texas Licensed Commercial Title Examiner, the remote position requires a skilled professional with over 5 years of experience in title examination for Commercial and Acreage properties, responsible for conducting thorough title searches, reviewing documents, and preparing commitments.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough searches of public records and complete examinations to assess property title status while adhering to regulatory standards
• Review documents affecting property title, including mortgages, deeds, and trust agreements
• Assemble Title Commitments for issuing Final Title Policies and mentor junior examiners on title issues

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of Texas title examination experience
• Strong understanding of title examination processes and relevant documentation
• Proficiency in Title Data (TIMS) title plant software and Deed Plotter software
• Good research skills with an understanding of legal terms and developments affecting real property
