Job Summary
To support a rapidly scaling real estate tech startup, the fully remote Experienced Commercial Title Searcher will analyze chains of title, review legal documents, and ensure the completeness of title searches for clients across the US.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze chain of title and review prepared title reports
- Verify ownership, encumbrances, and all relevant parties connected to the search
- Identify restrictions and potential issues that may affect property sale or transfer
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial title searches
- Over 5 years of experience with TDI (Title data) in Texas
- Strong understanding of title search terminology and related legal documents
- Experience reviewing various title documents, including deeds and mortgages
- Proficiency in determining completeness of title reports and identifying clouds on title
