Job Summary
Seeking a Texas Licensed Corporate Counsel, the full-time position will provide hands-on legal support across commercial, product, and corporate operations in a hybrid work environment, focusing on drafting and negotiating agreements, advising internal teams, and managing legal risks in a technology-driven setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including customer and vendor contracts
- Advise internal stakeholders on legal questions and escalate high-risk issues to the General Counsel
- Support data privacy and security compliance efforts in collaboration with security and engineering teams
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law
- 3-10 years of relevant legal experience, ideally with a mix of law firm and in-house experience
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with experience in handling commercial contracts independently
- General familiarity with IP and technology licensing concepts
- Ability to translate complex legal issues into practical guidance for business partners
