Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Texas Licensed Gastroenterology Professor, the Assistant Professor will provide exceptional care for liver-related disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings, engage in teaching, and contribute to departmental operations at MD Anderson's Texas Medical Center campus and Houston Area Locations.
Key responsibilities
- Provide clinical care for patients with liver-related disorders in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Engage in teaching and mentoring residents, fellows, and trainees
- Contribute to the daily operations and collaborative environment of the department
Required qualifications
- Doctorate-level degree in a relevant field
- Licensed or eligible for licensure by The Texas Medical Board
- Board certification in Internal Medicine
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
- Current CPR, BCLS, or ACLS certification recommended
