Job Summary
To support the implementation and growth of genetics programs, a Texas Licensed Genetic Counselor will provide high-quality telemedicine counseling services in a full-time remote capacity, collaborating with clinical teams and participating in various program initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care and genetic counseling services through telemedicine
- Assist with program launches and integrate Genomics programs into local practices
- Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, provider education, and quality improvement initiatives
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree in Genetic Counseling or Clinical Genetics
- Texas Genetic Counselor License upon hire
- National Certified Genetic Counselor certification upon hire
- 3 years of experience providing patient-facing genetic counseling and risk assessment
