Job Summary
Offering a unique opportunity for compassionate care, a Texas Licensed Hospice Veterinarian will provide in-home hospice, palliative care, and euthanasia services on a part-time basis in Westover Hills and Helotes, Texas, with a focus on individualized veterinary medicine and no non-compete agreements.
Key responsibilities
- Provide in-home pet hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life support, and compassionate euthanasia services
- Independently travel to scheduled appointments and practice effectively in a mobile veterinary care environment
- Educate pet families on quality-of-life decisions and maintain accurate veterinary medical records
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), BVMS, or equivalent veterinary medical degree
- Active veterinary license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel between appointments
- Comfortable working independently as a mobile veterinarian
- Availability for rotational weekend scheduling as required
