Job Summary
To support compassionate pet families in Pearland and Friendswood, Texas, the part-time Texas Licensed In-Home Veterinarian will provide in-home hospice, palliative care, and euthanasia services, focusing on individualized veterinary care and quality-of-life support while working independently in a mobile veterinary environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide in-home pet hospice, palliative care, and compassionate euthanasia services
- Travel independently to scheduled appointments and perform veterinary services in clients' homes
- Educate pet families on quality-of-life decisions and maintain accurate medical records
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), or equivalent veterinary degree
- Active veterinary license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel between appointments
- Experience in end-of-life care and compassionate communication with pet families
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
