Job Summary
To support compassionate end-of-life care, the part-time Texas Licensed In-Home Veterinarian will provide in-home pet hospice, palliative care, and euthanasia services in the San Antonio, Hollywood Park, and Bulverde areas, with flexible scheduling and no non-compete agreements.
Key responsibilities
- Provide in-home pet hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life support, and compassionate euthanasia services
- Travel independently to scheduled appointments and practice effectively in a mobile veterinary care environment
- Educate and guide pet families through quality-of-life decisions and the euthanasia process with empathy and professionalism
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), BVMS, or equivalent veterinary medical degree
- Active veterinary license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel between appointments
- Demonstrated ability to communicate empathetically during sensitive end-of-life conversations
- Availability for rotational weekend scheduling as required
