Texas Licensed Insurance Compliance Lead

Job Summary

To support a growing insurance operations team, the full-time Texas Licensed Insurance Compliance Lead will manage complex customer complaints, oversee regulatory responses, and drive systemic resolutions while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end investigation and de-escalation framework for critical customer complaints
• Manage carrier audits and state regulatory complaint workflows, including drafting official correspondence
• Collaborate with Legal, Product, and Engineering to implement process improvements based on audit findings and complaint trends

Required qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required (or willingness to obtain it quickly)
• 5+ years of insurance experience, including 3+ years in state insurance and regulatory compliance
• 2+ years in a team lead, managerial, or supervisory role preferred
• Proven track record of managing state regulatory inquiries and carrier audit relationships
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a focus on legal and compliance detail
