Job Summary

Delivering essential Utilization Management tasks, the contract Texas Licensed Intake Care Representative will serve as the initial contact for clients requesting services, assign cases to appropriate staff, and support employee training in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client assignments to staff members or behavioral health providers for assessment and counseling
• Ensure adherence to customer service standards, including telephone response times
• Assist in training employees and provide guidance on procedures and workflows

Required qualifications

• Texas Licensed Intake Care Representative certification
• Experience in customer service within a healthcare or behavioral health setting
• Ability to handle non-routine issues and escalate as necessary
• Strong understanding of Utilization Management processes
• Proven capability to work independently with minimal supervision
