Texas Licensed Medical Assistant
Job Summary
To enhance the efficiency of operations in a fast-paced Pulmonary Clinic, the full-time Texas Licensed Medical Assistant will provide clinical and administrative support, including patient care, appointment scheduling, and maintaining medical records, while working Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Key responsibilities
- Perform patient care tasks such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and conducting spirometry tests
- Manage patient interactions by greeting them, updating medical records, and scheduling appointments
- Assist with administrative duties including completing insurance forms, arranging hospital admissions, and maintaining exam rooms
Required qualifications
- Texas Medical Assistant certification
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years of experience in the healthcare industry (hospital, physician practice, or insurance)
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records
- Knowledge of medical terminology
