Texas Licensed Medical Director, ENT
Job Summary
To lead the claims review program, the remote Texas Licensed Medical Director, ENT will manage the quality and effectiveness of medical services, participate in claim reviews, and liaise with providers while working full-time.
Key responsibilities:
- Reviews surgical and professional claims for correct coding based on clinical records
- Engages in telephonic discussions with treating providers regarding clinical coding situations
- Supports compliance with regulatory standards and assists in developing clinical policies and procedures
Required qualifications:
- MD or DO with a current, active, and fully unrestricted medical license
- Current board certification in Otolaryngology (ENT) through ABMS or AOA
- 5+ years of clinical experience post-residency
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
