Job Summary
The full-time Texas Licensed Nephrology Professor will provide clinical expertise in patient care management, engage in clinical research, and educate medical fellows and students in Nephrology and Onco-Nephrology, with a hybrid onsite/remote work arrangement.
Key responsibilities
- Provide clinical expertise in patient care management, conducting thorough patient examinations and documentation
- Engage in clinical research and scholarly activities, developing and executing studies aligned with departmental goals
- Deliver educational programs and serve as a role model for medical fellows and students rotating through the Nephrology section
Required qualifications
- MD degree from an accredited medical school or equivalent
- Completed residency training in an approved American Residency Program or equivalent
- Completed clinical fellowship in Nephrology
- Accepted by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Nephrology
- Licensed as a physician in the State of Texas
