Job Summary
To enhance patient care and education, the full-time Texas Licensed Nephrology Professor will provide clinical expertise in nephrology and onco-nephrology, engage in clinical research, and oversee the training of medical fellows and students in a hybrid onsite/remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care management and conduct thorough patient examinations
- Engage in clinical research and scholarly activities to advance the academic environment of the department
- Deliver educational programs for medical fellows and students rotating through the nephrology section
Required qualifications
- MD degree from an accredited medical school or equivalent
- Completion of residency training in an approved American Residency Program
- Completion of a clinical fellowship in Nephrology
- Board certification in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Nephrology
- Current physician license in the State of Texas
