Job Summary
To support nursing informatics activities, the full-time Texas Licensed Nursing Informatics Specialist will provide advanced leadership and consultation, primarily working remotely with occasional travel, while focusing on the integration of nursing informatics with organizational IT strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze clinical operations and care processes to facilitate decision-making for clinical transformation
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to technology and systems, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for system optimization
- Identify staff education needs and coordinate training related to technology use in patient care
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing, Nursing Informatics, or a related field
- 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 2 years of experience in nursing informatics
- Current RN license upon hire
- Board Certified Informatics Nurse (BCIN) within 12 months of hire
