Job Summary
To support clinical reviews of therapy services, the full-time Texas Licensed Occupational Therapist will perform utilization reviews, provide recommendations, and collaborate with care management teams, all in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conducts utilization reviews of service requests for specialty therapy services and durable medical equipment based on best practices
- Collaborates with Utilization and Care Management teams to ensure members receive appropriate care and treatment
- Assists in developing clinical training and provides feedback to improve therapy services and outcomes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 2 - 4 years of related experience in clinical therapy services or durable medical equipment
- Licensed Occupational Therapist required
- Clinical knowledge of therapy regulations and guidelines preferred
- Familiarity with utilization management processes preferred
