Texas Licensed Paralegal
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Texas Licensed Paralegal to provide general paralegal support in the Richardson, TX office, assisting attorneys with discovery preparation, trial case preparation, and legal research while maintaining client communication and case documentation.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with the preparation of responses to discovery and trial case preparation
- Monitor compliance with discovery requests and prepare motions as needed
- Conduct investigations by obtaining necessary records and drafting legal documents
Required qualifications:
- Paralegal certificate or a minimum of 6 months of relevant experience
- Typing skills of at least 28 wpm with 95% accuracy
- Familiarity with general office equipment and legal software
- Prior experience with drafting discovery documents and summarizing claims files
- Ability to work in-office with occasional remote work opportunities
