Texas Licensed Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

To support a dynamic healthcare environment, the full-time Texas Licensed Patient Account Representative will manage accounts receivable collections, verify account balances, and ensure timely payments while working remotely during standard business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Manage receivables by verifying account balances and resolving payment discrepancies through communication with payors and patients
• Review and process financial assistance applications, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and timely documentation
• Identify and address payor issues, recommending accounts for external collections when necessary

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Two years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle accounts receivable
• Experience in hospital collections preferred
• Familiarity with Medicare processes preferred
• Proficiency in using Epic software preferred
