Job Summary
To support a leading healthcare organization, the remote contract-to-hire Texas Licensed Pharmacist will review prior authorization criteria, apply clinical knowledge to pharmacy-related requests, and collaborate with healthcare professionals while working independently from home.
Key responsibilities
- Review and complete prior authorization criteria according to policy and procedure
- Apply clinical knowledge to pharmacy-related authorization requests
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals while maintaining accuracy and organization
Required qualifications
- Active pharmacist license in good standing
- PharmD or Bachelor's in Pharmacy
- Organized and detail-oriented with comfort in using technology
- New graduates are welcome; leadership, residency, or fellowship experience is a plus
- PBM/prior authorization experience is not required
