Job Summary

Seeking a Texas Licensed Pharmacy Technician, the fully remote contract position will manage a high-volume inbound call center focused on the prior authorization process, providing courteous assistance to members and healthcare professionals while documenting authorization determinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound calls from members, providers, and healthcare professionals
• Review clinical documentation for completeness and assist callers through the prior authorization process
• Accurately document approvals, denials, and case information while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician certification preferred; Pharm Tech Trainee license may be considered
• Minimum of 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience, preferably in a healthcare or call center environment
• Minimum of 1 year of high-volume customer service or call center experience
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy terminology, medication processes, and prior authorization workflows
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required
