Job Summary
Supporting pharmacy benefit management services, the full-time Texas Licensed Pharmacy Technician will manage incoming provider inquiries, process prior authorizations, and ensure accurate communication in a remote call center environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls related to prior authorization requests and provider inquiries
- Accurately process and document prior authorization requests within required timeframes
- Provide courteous and knowledgeable support to healthcare providers across multiple communication platforms
Required qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in retail, hospital, managed care, insurance, or PBM
- Active and current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, email, and internet usage
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, call center environment
