Job Summary
To support a high-volume inbound call center, the remote Texas Licensed Pharmacy Technician will manage prior authorization processes, provide assistance to members and healthcare professionals, and review clinical documentation for completeness.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls from members, providers, and healthcare professionals
- Review clinical documentation for completeness and adherence to established criteria
- Accurately document approvals, denials, and case information in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience, preferably in an administrative support, healthcare, or call center environment
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy terminology, medication processes, and prior authorization workflows
- Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred but not required; Pharm Tech Trainee license will also be considered
- Minimum of 1 year of high-volume customer service or call center experience; healthcare experience is preferred
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required
