Job Summary
Supporting patient care in a high-volume environment, the full-time Remote Texas Licensed Pharmacy Technician will conduct outbound calls to physician offices for prescription refill authorizations while maintaining documentation and compliance standards.
Key responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to obtain prescription refill and renewal authorizations from healthcare providers
- Document all interactions accurately and maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Meet daily call volume expectations while collaborating with team leads for issue resolution
Required qualifications
- Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of high-volume outbound call center experience
- Experience in pharmacy workflow or as a pharmacy technician
- Strong verbal communication skills and professional phone etiquette
