Job Summary

To support patient care continuity, the remote Texas Licensed Pharmacy Technician will place outbound calls to physician offices for prescription refill authorizations, ensuring timely and compliant communication while managing repetitive tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to physician offices to obtain verbal authorization for prescription refills
• Ensure timely and compliant handling of refill requests to support patient care
• Maintain professionalism and accuracy in all communications and documentation

Required qualifications

• Must have Texas State and National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and focus
• Experience in a call center, healthcare, pharmacy, or customer service environment preferred
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements is a plus
