Job Summary

To support a growing mental health practice, the full-time Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy and medication management in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities
  • Assess patients' mental and physical status, diagnose psychiatric disorders, and conduct individual psychotherapy
  • Collaborate with team members to develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans while monitoring medication usage and side effects
  • Document patient histories, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with HIPAA and national standards of care
Required qualifications
  • 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
  • Experience in Addiction and Mental Health, with a focus on treating adults and severe mental illness
  • Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and substance abuse dual-diagnoses
  • Experience with EHRs and timely, quality documentation
