Job Summary
To support a growing remote practice, a full-time Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy and medication management.
Key responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose psychiatric disorders while conducting individual psychotherapy
- Prescribe psychotropic medications and monitor patients' medication usage and side effects
- Document patient histories, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Comfortable working with patients across the lifespan (ages 13+)
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and/or substance abuse dual-diagnoses
