Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time salaried Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose psychiatric disorders and conduct individual psychotherapy for patients across the lifespan
- Prescribe medications and monitor patients' medication usage and side effects
- Document patient care and maintain compliance with HIPAA and national standards of care
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Ability to work with patients aged 13 years and older
- Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and timely documentation
