Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, and provide individual psychotherapy, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose psychiatric disorders and conduct individual psychotherapy for patients across the lifespan
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, educating patients on their risks and benefits
- Document medical histories, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with HIPAA and internal policies
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Comfort working with patients aged 13 years and older
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning
