Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy and medication management in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose psychiatric disorders, providing care to adolescent and adult patients
- Conduct individual psychotherapy and prescribe psychotropic medications while monitoring patients' responses and side effects
- Document patient histories, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with HIPAA and national standards of care
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Ability to work with patients across the lifespan (ages 13+)
- Experience with EHRs and timely, quality documentation
