Job Summary
To support a growing mental health practice, the full-time Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, diagnose psychiatric disorders, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement treatment plans, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and diagnose psychiatric disorders in adolescent and adult patients
- Prescribe medications and monitor patients' treatment progress and medication side effects
- Document patient care and maintain compliance with HIPAA and national standards of care
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Comfort working with patients across the lifespan (ages 13+)
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning
