Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time salaried Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy and medication management in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose psychiatric disorders, conduct individual psychotherapy, and prescribe medications while monitoring patients' treatment responses
- Document patients' medical histories, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with HIPAA and national standards of care
- Collaborate with team members to evaluate and implement effective treatment plans for patients across the lifespan
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license
- Experience in addiction and mental health treatment
- Comfort working with patients aged 13 and older, including those with severe mental illness
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth technology
