Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
To support a growing mental health practice, the full-time Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess and diagnose patients' mental and physical health, conduct individual psychotherapy, prescribe medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patients' mental and physical status, diagnose psychiatric disorders, and conduct individual psychotherapy
- Prescribe psychotropic medications and monitor patients' medication usage and side effects
- Document patients' medical histories, treatment plans, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and national standards of care
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Familiarity with mental health diagnoses and treatment planning
- Experience working with adults and across the lifespan (ages 13+)
