Job Summary
To assess and treat psychiatric disorders in individuals with intellectual disabilities, the part-time Texas Licensed Psychiatrist will conduct evaluations, manage medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, working either onsite or via telepsychiatry.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnose mental health conditions
- Develop treatment plans and manage psychiatric medications
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR system
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Texas medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Current, unrestricted DEA registration
- Valid National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Proficiency in computers and EHR systems
