Job Summary
To provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment, the part-time Texas Licensed Psychiatrist will diagnose and manage psychiatric disorders for residents with intellectual disabilities, working on-site or via telepsychiatry during regular business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Oversee medication management and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality care
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted medical license issued by the State of Texas
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Current, unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
- Valid National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
