Job Summary
To support quality improvement initiatives, the part-time Texas Licensed Quality Improvement Specialist will manage healthcare project activities, ensure compliance with review requirements, and develop educational materials while working remotely and requiring occasional travel.
Key responsibilities
- Develops and distributes reports and documentation within required deadlines
- Plans and monitors project activities to enhance quality and efficiency
- Obtains and reviews medical records to ensure compliance with program requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field, or a Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Coding Certification
- 1 to 3 years of relevant healthcare or project management experience
- 1 to 2 years of experience in process improvement or quality assurance
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred
