Job Summary
To advance cancer research and the development of innovative radiopharmaceuticals, a full-time Texas Licensed Radiochemist will manage quality control operations, contribute to research and development of novel tracers, and ensure laboratory safety compliance in a hybrid onsite/remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform quality control procedures using analytical techniques and maintain accurate laboratory records
- Develop and optimize radiolabeling procedures and analytical methods for new radiopharmaceuticals
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety and contamination control requirements while supporting scientific communication
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field; Master's Degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing and/or quality control of PET radiopharmaceuticals
- Expertise in analytical techniques such as HPLC and GC
- Experience with quality control operations and method development
- Preferred: Authorized user listed in Radioactive Materials License as per Nuclear Regulatory Commission
