Texas Licensed RCM Coding Supervisor

Job Summary

Overseeing coding operations, the full-time Texas Licensed RCM Coding Supervisor will ensure the accuracy, quality, compliance, and efficiency of physician coding activities while managing relationships with outsourced coding vendors and internal stakeholders in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor vendor productivity and conduct routine audits to ensure compliance with coding standards
• Develop and maintain coding policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements
• Analyze coding performance data and prepare reports for leadership, identifying areas for improvement

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
• Current Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist-Physician Based (CCS-P) certification required
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of physician coding experience required
• Experience in conducting coding audits and supporting compliance initiatives required
• Supervisory or project leadership experience preferred
