Job Summary
To support a growing revenue cycle team, the part-time Texas Licensed Revenue Integrity Auditor will develop and conduct presentations on coding, billing, and compliance topics while working remotely from Texas.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct education sessions for new providers on coding and documentation practices to ensure compliance
- Perform quality assurance reviews of coding and billing practices to align with regulations and university policies
- Research and respond to inquiries regarding coding, documentation, and reimbursement to support compliance efforts
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in a professional billing environment with a focus on coding, auditing, and compliance
- Certification as a Professional Coder (CPC), Coding Specialist (CCS), or Medical Coder (CMC) upon hire
